Ruger's famous rings make for very easy removal of the rifle scope for easy storage and cleaning as  scope will re integrate back to 1/8 " at 100 yards (1/8 MOA) without any rezero by simply loosening the two locking screws at the ring connection points and then reconnect by tightening the same - This is a standard feature that comes with 77R rifles that generally goes un-advertised by Ruger but is true on all rifles Ruger manufactures with scope ring provisions - All Ruger Rifles of this caliber are more than capable of less than 1/2 inch 3 shoot grouping at 100 yards which simply translates into the ultimate sporting, hunting and target rifle combination.
